Lame Studios, LLC currently acts only as the billing entity for eligible web subscriptions and does not operate the Monkey Finance service itself.

Mobile subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed through their respective platforms and managed through RevenueCat.

As Monkey Finance evolves, our corporate structure, operating entities, billing providers, or payment processors may change. When those changes materially affect these Terms, we will update this document accordingly.

3. About Monkey Finance

Monkey Finance is a personal and family financial management platform designed to help people better understand and improve their financial lives.

Depending on the features you choose to use, Monkey Finance may allow you to:

Manage financial accounts.

Monkey Finance will continue evolving over time.

The availability of features may vary depending on your country, subscription plan, applicable laws, regulatory requirements, platform limitations, or operational readiness.

To use certain features of Monkey Finance, you may be required to create an account.

By creating an account, you represent that:

Kiko is Monkey Finance’s AI-powered financial coach.

Kiko is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Kiko does not provide:

Financial advice.
Investment advice.
Legal advice.
Tax advice.
Accounting advice.
Credit approval decisions.

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances.

You should use your own judgment and, when appropriate, consult a qualified professional before making important financial, legal, tax, investment, or lending decisions.

The availability and capabilities of Kiko may change over time as Monkey Finance introduces new AI-powered features.

8. Monkey Score

Monkey Score is Monkey Finance’s financial health indicator.

Its purpose is to help you better understand your financial habits, monitor your progress over time, and identify opportunities to improve your overall financial well-being.

Monkey Score is intended as an educational and personal financial management tool.

Monkey Score is not:

A credit score.
A credit report.
A credit approval or underwriting system.
A guarantee of eligibility for any financial product or service.

Financial institutions, lenders, employers, insurers, or other third parties should not interpret Monkey Score as a substitute for their own evaluation processes.

As Monkey Finance evolves, Monkey Score may introduce additional educational insights or features. Any future enterprise products or decision-support tools will be subject to separate terms, disclosures, and, where required, user consent.

9. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Monkey Finance may offer both free and paid subscription plans.

Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date.

Depending on how you subscribe, billing may be managed through different providers:

Apple App Store for subscriptions purchased through iOS applications.
Google Play for subscriptions purchased through Android applications.
Monkey Finance Website for eligible web subscriptions, which may be processed through Stripe and billed by Lame Studios, LLC.

Subscription management, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are generally handled through the platform where the subscription was originally purchased.

Unless otherwise stated:

Apple App Store subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account.
Google Play subscriptions must be managed through your Google account.
Web subscriptions may be managed through your Monkey Finance account or other instructions provided at the time of purchase.

Prices, subscription plans, features, taxes, and billing methods may change from time to time. Any such changes will be communicated in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.

10. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on how your subscription or purchase was made.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple’s refund policies and procedures.
Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are subject to Google’s refund policies and procedures.
Eligible web subscriptions purchased directly through Monkey Finance are subject to the refund policy in effect at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, Monkey Finance is not responsible for processing refunds for purchases made through third-party app stores.

Additional information about billing and refunds may be provided at the time of purchase.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Monkey Finance responsibly and in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

You may not use Monkey Finance to:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Monkey Finance and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws determined by the legal entity operating the applicable Monkey Finance service, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

If a dispute arises, we encourage users to contact Monkey Finance first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws and jurisdiction governing the relevant Monkey Finance entity, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Additional dispute resolution procedures may apply depending on your country of residence or the platform through which you purchased a subscription.
